Saylorville Kids
Kindergarten–5th Grade meets during all three morning services during the school year and during the third service (11:00am) throughout the summer. Care for Infants–Preschool is available every Sunday during all three morning services.
Nursery
To provide an age-appropriate setting for your child, we offer two nursery areas:
- Infant Nursery: For newborns through confident walkers
- Toddler Nursery: For confident walkers through 2 ½ years old
2 ½ – 3 Yrs
This class helps kids transition from the nursery to our preschool class. Here, they will play, have a short Bible lesson, do a craft, sing songs and have a snack. Your child is welcome to join this class the week after turning 2 ½ and will remain in the class until turning 4.
4 yrs – Preschool
This class is formatted similar to a traditional school classroom setting. Here, children will learn and recite Bible verses, participate in large group worship and Bible lessons, play games, eat snacks and do crafts. Your child is welcome to join this class after turning 4 and will remain in the class until “kindergarten graduation” each spring.
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
These classes follow a format similar to the 4’s through preschool classes. During class time your child will learn and recite Bible verses and participate in worship, large group lesson time and small groups.

F.A.Q.
What safety and security measures do you take?
For your child’s safety and your peace of mind, we:
- Do background checks on all volunteers
- Require all volunteers to be members of Saylorville
- Provide a random-numbered security tag for each parent and child
- Confirm the parent’s possession of the security tag before releasing a child at check-out
Where does it meet?
All classes meet in the Family Life Center in age-graded classrooms. If you’re a first time visitor, please stop at the Check-In Desk to get your child registered.
What do you teach?
2 ½ through 3 years
The 2 ½-3 year olds meet together in a class that helps transition them from nursery to the preschool class. Here, they play, do a craft, have a snack, participate in group activities that get them engaged in the lesson and learn important truths about who God is.
4 years through 5th Grade
We use The Gospel Project which is a Christ-centered Bible study resource. It follows a chronological timeline of Bible events, presenting the story of redemption through Jesus!
